Okra Fry in Instant Pot
Okra or Bhindi is very famous and favorite Vegetable across the World. Every cuisine in the World uses Okra regularly in their dishes. This Vegetable is rich in vitamin A, B6 and vitamin C and also magnesium.
This recipe is our all time favorite in our house and we make me almost twice a week and is very simple to make with very little ingredients available in our kitchen. Please follow the recipe and enjoy the delicious kra fry.
Required Ingredients :
Okra/Bendi - 1/2 Kg
Oil - 1 Spoon
Chopped Onion - 1 Cup
Turmeric - 1/4 Spoon
Red Chili Powder - 1 Spoon
Coriander Powder - 1 Spoon
Curry Leaves - Little
Salt - 1 Spoon
Cumin Powder - 1/4 Spoon
Coriander Leaves - 1 Cup
Flax Seeds Powder - 1 Spoon
Making Process :
1. Wash and cut Okras neatly and keep it a side.
2. Chop medium sized Onion.
3.Turn on the instant pot to saute mode and add oil once Oil is heated add Onions to it
and fry till becomes soft.
4. Then add Chili powder, Turmeric powder, Coriander powder, Salt, Curry leaves and saute for 5 minutes till Masalas are cooked.
5. Then add cut Okra to instant pot mix them well, close the lid and keep manual for 12 minutes.
6. Once its done open the lid mix well and sprinkle Flax seed powder( this is optional).
7. Serve hot with White Rice or Rotis.
