Healthy Sweet Pongal
Required Ingredients :
Rice - 1 cupJaggery(Powder) - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Elachi (Cardamom) - 1/4 spoon
Kumkum puvvu (Saffron) - Pinch
Paccha Karpuram Powder - Pinch
(Edible Camphor)
Cashew nut - 10
Ghee - 2 spoons
Making Process :
1. Clean the Rice with water and take it with 1:3 Ratio of water in pressure Cooker and close the Cooker. After three whistles tern of the flame. Let it cool down.
2. In the separate Pan put slow flame, add Ghee put dry Fruits of your choices, fry it until Golden Brown.
3. Open the Cooker and add 1 cup Jaggery and mix it with Rice and cook it the low flame for Five minutes. Later add milk to it and cook for another Two minutes.
4. Add the Dry Fruits and Cadaman, Safran, Edible camphor and mix it well.
5. Sweet Pongal is Ready to Eat.
